CEDIS 7 La Encantada

CEDIS 7 La Encantada is a warehouse located in the city of Gomez Palacio in the state of Durango. Developed by GINN and constructed by Trebotti, the project was designed to reduce its environmental impact by incorporating resource-efficient measures, including LED lighting and low-flow plumbing fixtures.

Technical Solutions

Energy

Reduced window-to-wall ratio, insulation and reflective paint/tiles for the roof, air conditioning with an air cooled screw chiller, energy saving lighting in sales, common, and corridor areas, and skylights that provide daylight to 50 percent of the top floor area.

Water

Efficient flush water closets, water-efficient urinals, and aerators/auto shut-off faucets.

Materials

Composite in-situ reinforced concrete and steel deck for the floor, aluminum sheets on steel rafters for the roof, medium weight hollow concrete blocks and plasterboards on metal studs for the internal walls, in-situ reinforced external walls, and ceramic tile and finished concrete flooring.
