Crusoe Cabins @ CaSoBē

Crusoe Cabins is a hotel project, strategically located within Landco’s leisure tourism estates at CaSoBe in Calatagan, the Philippines. Developed by Millennial Resort Corporation (MRC), Crusoe Cabins were developed from upcycled container vans transformed into modern, comfortable, and unique accommodations by the sea. The project was planned as part of the company’s commitment to sustainability, also featuring tree-lined bike lanes and walkways to promote mobility with lower carbon footprints, with solar lamps illuminating these paths at night.

Through the use of state-of-the-art technologies such variable refrigerant volume (VRV) cooling systems, energy-saving LED lightbulbs, and water-efficient plumbing features, the project was able to significantly reduce its energy and water consumption, as well as energy embodied in materials, resulting in a more sustainable construction project and a reduced carbon footprint. The properties also utilize double piping for its water system that allows water reclamation and repurposing of wastewater for garden irrigation.

Crusoe Cabins has received Final EDGE Certification from the Philippine GreenBuilding Initiative.
