Bac Ninh Low-Income Housing

Bac Ninh Low-Income Housing

The Bac Ninh Low-Income Housing project provides sustainable and affordable housing solutions for residents of Bac Ninh province. The 11-story building contains 389 resource-efficient apartments that help residents not only lower their carbon footprint, but also save on their utility bills. The housing project is part of HUDLAND JSC’s greater Le Thai To New Urban Zone development, which is a modern, planned community. The development aims to provide a space for the sustainable growth of the greater Hanoi area. With walking paths and plenty of green spaces, residents of the new community can find a tranquil escape from the city.

Each of the units at the Bac Ninh Low-Income Housing project have energy-saving lighting, low-flow showerheads and other features that conserve energy and water. The apartments use less glazing on the façade to minimize the amount of heat entering the building. HUDLAND also chose sustainable construction materials such as medium weight hollow concrete blocks for the walls and a controlled use of concrete for flooring and roof construction. These measures reduce embodied energy in materials by almost 50%.

HUDLAND JSC is committed to the sustainable development of Bac Ninh through their innovative projects such as Le Thai To New Urban Zone. By providing low-income housing to residents in the area, they can ensure that green homes are affordable and accessible to all. The Bac Ninh Low-Income Housing project has received final EDGE certification from SGS Vietnam.
