BluHomes Maya

BluHomes Maya is a new eco-friendly residential development in Caloocan City. The community is composed of eight single-attached, three-bedroom homes. A Gakkan Tree, native to the Philippines, was planted in the front yard of each home to encourage residents to connect with their surrounding environment.

The community was designed to conserve natural resources, helping residents save on utilities and live more environmentally-friendly lifestyles. LED lighting, solar panels, reflective tiles, and insulation were installed to reduce the homes’ energy use, while dual-flush water closets and low-flow plumbing fixtures were installed to reduce the homes’ water use. The north-south orientation was also considered to maximize natural lighting and optimize thermal comfort.

The developer of the project, Aztala Corporation, is a leading Filipino-owned real estate development and construction corporation that is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its projects. Aztala Corporation’s BluHomes brand – a brand of certified, eco-friendly homes – is a testament to the company’s dedication to green buildings.

BluHomes Maya has been awarded EDGE Advanced certification from the Philippine Green Building Initiative (PGBI).
