Predicted Savings of EDGE Certification
Less Embodied Energy in Materials
Reduced window to wall ratio, low-E coated glass, variable refrigerant volume (VRV) cooling system, energy-saving lighting in external and internal spaces.
Dual-flush water closets for bathrooms, and low-flow showerheads and low-flow for all kitchen sinks and washbasins.
In-situ reinforced concrete slab for the floor and roof slabs, micro-concrete tiles for roof, autoclaved aerated concrete blocks for internal and external walls, common brick wall with internal and external plaster for internal and external walls.
*Part of the energy efficiency percentage may be associated with virtual energy for comfort depending on the presence of heating and cooling systems. Note that virtual energy does not contribute savings to utility bills.
