Ecoloft Jababeka Cikarang
EDGE Zero Carbon
The Ecoloft serviced apartments are located in Cikarang (Bekasi), which is becoming the new industrial hub in the greater Jakarta area. Ecoloft is the first project to receive EDGE Zero Carbon Certification in Indonesia.
The townhouses are in the heart of the Jababaka Golf Course, surrounded by trees, lakes and walking paths, offering a great recreational setting while only being minutes away from the bustling business center. The apartments are resource-efficient and environmentally friendly, from layout and design straight through to construction, operation and maintenance. Residents are estimated to benefit from energy savings of more than 80 percent primarily due to the installation of solar technologies.
The investor of the project, Asia Green Real Estate, has worked with IFC since 2017 to help its clients identify the most cost-effective solutions to build green. Asia Green Real Estate has dedicated green building experts who analyze the resource efficiency of each project and help develop buildings that are environmentally, economically, and socially sound. The company has already invested in more than two million square meters of sustainable floor space and has achieved EDGE certification for a number of projects, including Samara Suites, Verde Two Terraverde Tower, Verde Two Monteverde Tower and Guizhou Tower.
Ecoloft Jababeka Cikarang has received Zero Carbon Certification from the Green Building Council Indonesia.
