Equites Park Meadowview – Digistics
Digistics, a leading supply chain group in South Africa, is opening a new facility at Equites Property Fund’s Meadowview industrial park. Situated next to the N3 highway in Johannesburg, Meadowview can accommodate development opportunities ranging from 5,000 to 20,000 square meters.
Resource-efficient design and technologies will be incorporated into the Digistics’ warehouse to reduce its environmental impact. LED lighting, reflective paint, and solar photovoltaics will be installed to reduce the warehouse’s energy use, while auto shut-off faucets and water-efficient plumbing fixtures will be installed to reduce the warehouse’s water use. The resource efficiency of the warehouse is a manifestation of Digistics’ commitment to lower the carbon footprint of its operations.
Equites Property Fund, the developer of the industrial park, is committed to incorporating sustainable practices into its developments. Equites Property Fund has also EDGE-certified the Altron warehouse at Meadowview and the Premier Foods warehouse at its Lords View development.
