A new hotel prototype, SAMHI’s Fairfield by Marriott combines resource-efficient design with affordability to meet the needs of the upwardly-mobile Indian business traveler.
Based in New Delhi, SAMHI is one of the first hotel asset companies in India to specialize in the development, acquisition and ownership of branded hotels. Through its collaborations with Marriott, Accor, Starwood Hotels and Hyatt, SAMHI has a portfolio of 25 hotels with more than 3,700 rooms.
SAMHI’s Fairfield by Marriott incorporates indigenous materials such as stone, wood and textiles. The property has access from multiple demand generators, including downtown Bangalore, Peenya industrial area and Bangalore Expo Centre.

Reduced window to wall ratio, air conditioning with water cooled screw chiller, low-E coated glass, variable speed drives on the fans of cooling towers, variable speed drives pumps, energy-saving light bulbs for back-of-house and heat pumps.
Water
Dual flush water closets in all bathrooms and a black water treatment and recycling system.
Materials
150mm in-situ reinforced concrete slab for floors and roof, 200mm solid dense concrete blocks for internal and external walls, and laminated wooden flooring.
