Gedung KLMS is a one-story office building for Indonesia Power, a state-owned utility company. The project was developed by PT Power Sejati Engineering, and is located in North Jakarta.
To meet international standards for resource efficiency, energy and water-saving technologies were incorporated into the design, construction and internal processes of the building. Reflective paint, an energy-efficient HVAC system and LED lighting reduce the office building’s energy use, while water-efficient plumbing fixtures and a rainwater harvesting system reduce its water consumption. Solar photovoltaic provide 22.5% of the building’s electricity use.
Gedung KLMS has received Final EDGE Advanced Certification from Green Building Council Indonesia.
Reduced window to wall ratio, reflective paint for the roof and external walls, variable refrigerant volume (VRV) cooling system, energy-saving lighting in internal spaces, and solar photovoltaics covering 22.5% of energy use.
Efficient flush for water closets, and a rainwater harvesting system.
In-situ reinforced concrete slab for the floor, in-situ reinforced concrete slab and asphalt shingles on steel rafters for the roof, autoclaved aerated concrete blocks for external and internal walls, ceramic tile for flooring and aluminum window frames.
