La Rinconada

La Rinconada is 12-home residential complex in Tumbaco, a community just southeast of Quito. Each home in the community will include its own large green space that provides privacy to residents. The community will also include a variety of amenities including a communal house for meetings and green areas for the recreation of children.

Homeowners will benefit from lower utility bills as all units reduce energy and water usage through insulation of the roof and external walls, LED lighting, dual-flush water closets, low-flow plumbing fixtures and more.

La Rinconada is being developed by Fausto Marcelo Acosta. The homes will be built by MAMARAL, a construction company in the region. MAMARAL incorporates resource-efficient technologies into its projects to help transform the built environment in Ecuador.

La Rinconada has received a preliminary EDGE certificate from GBCI.
