Oficinas FINSA Aguascalientes
FINSA, a leading industrial real estate company in Mexico, has opened a new office in Aguascalientes. Located within the FINSA Industrial Park of Aguascalientes, the office provides a more productive and resource-efficient work space for employees. The functionality and modernity of the new office will allow FINSA to continue to offer its clients innovative and quality real estate solutions.
LED lighting, a variable refrigerant volume cooling system and external shading devices were installed to reduce the office’s energy use, while dual-flush water closets and water-efficient plumbing fixtures were installed to reduce the office’s water use. The energy and water savings lower the office’s operating costs.
FINSA is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its industrial projects through resource-efficient design and technologies. The Aguascalientes office is an example of this commitment, as is the EDGE-certified FINSA office in Santa Catarina.
Oficinas FINSA Aguascalientes has received EDGE Advanced certification from GBCI.
Predicted Savings of EDGE Certification
Less Embodied Energy in Materials
Reduced window to wall ratio, reflective paint/tiles for the roof, external shading devices, low-E coated glass, a variable refrigerant volume (VRV) cooling system, energy-saving lighting in internal and external spaces, and occupancy sensors in bathrooms, conference rooms and closed cabins.
Dual-flush water closets, low-flow faucets in bathrooms and water-efficient faucets for kitchen sinks.
In-situ reinforced concrete for the floor, concrete filler slab with polystyrene blocks for the roof, cored bricks with plaster for internal and external walls, precast concrete panels for external walls, and finished concrete and nylon carpets for the flooring.
*Part of the energy efficiency percentage may be associated with virtual energy for comfort depending on the presence of heating and cooling systems. Note that virtual energy does not contribute savings to utility bills.
