Pusgiwa UI
Pusat Kegiatan Mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia (Pusgiwa UI) is space for students and staff at the University of Indonesia. It is located on the campus of the University of Indonesia, Depok, West Java.
This building is implementing the green building concept, with energy and water efficiency and also being friendly to students with disabilities. Elements to achieve this focus on sustainability include reflective paint for external walls, external shading devices, insulation for roof, natural ventilation for corridors, and energy-saving lightbulbs. Also, in order to achieve water saving, Pusgiwa UI uses efficient sanitary features such as low-flow faucets for bathroom and kitchen, dual flush for water closets in all bathrooms, as well as water-efficient urinals and flush systems.
The project was developed by the Universitas Indonesia (UI), with green building consultation provided by PT Yodaya Hijau Bestari.
Pusgiwa UI has received Final EDGE Certification from Green Building Council Indonesia.
