REBEL
Developed by Inmgenio, the REBEL residential building offers a different kind of lifestyle. With a rooftop garden covering 50% of the roof, unique architecture, and environmentally-friendly materials, REBEL provides a tranquil escape from Lima’s bustling city center. The building has less glazing on the façade and external shading devices to conserve energy and eliminate the need for air conditioning. The use of less concrete in the floors and roof will also help the building reduce its embodied energy in materials. Such green features allow residents to save from $62 to $100 in utility bills, depending on the type of unit. Residents can choose from 44 modern apartments consisting of 2, 3, and 4-bedrooms units.
As the population in greater Lima expands, the government in Lima’s residential district of San Borja is ensuring the area grows sustainably in tandem. REBEL is one of several innovatively designed housing developments that rewards property developers with a height bonus incentive for committing to projects that earn green building certification.
Inmgenio has over seven years of experience developing innovative and sustainable housing for the greater Lima area. The company is committed to increasing the quality of life for its customers by helping them obtain savings through high-quality buildings. Inmgenio sought the help of architectural design firm Reusche + Reyna Atelier, sustainability consultant Diámetro Arquitectura + Sostenibilidad, and engineering firm Prisma Ingeniera to develop REBEL.
REBEL has received a preliminary EDGE certificate from GBCI.
