Springhill Condotel at Jimbaran Hijau
Developed by Springhill Group and designed by Grounds Kent Arsitek Indonesia (GKAI), Springhill Condotel at Jimbaran Hijau is comprised of a pair of five-story towers with 129 guestrooms. Located in Bali’s hotel district, the project aims to redefine classical Balinese architecture, incorporating a mix of renewable energy, energy-efficient cooling systems, and passive design features.
Springhill Group is a multi-sector real estate development company headquartered in Jakarta that is committed to developing properties that are environmentally friendly.
The Springhill Condotel at Jimbaran Hijau property is located in Bali’s hotel district at the heart of International Park, close to Ngurah Rai International Airport and a few minutes from the beach. The project has received a preliminary EDGE certificate from the Green Building Council Indonesia.
Technical Solutions
Energy
Reduced window to wall ratio, external shading devices, insulation of roof and external walls, natural ventilation in corridors, air conditioning with air cooled screw chiller, energy-saving light bulbs for internal and external spaces, and solar photovoltaics.
Water
Low-flow plumbing fixtures for washbasins and shower-heads, dual-flush water closets, water-efficient urinals, water-efficient kitchen faucets, and water-efficient landscaping.
Materials
Micro concrete tiles on steel rafters for roof construction, stone profile cladding and autoclaved aerated concrete blocks for internal and external walls, wood block finishes for flooring, and timber window frames.
