Stoneleigh will be a new development that will provide 334 rental units in the affordable housing market in Helderwyk, Brakpan, South Africa that meet the EDGE standard.
Transcend company sustainability goals are to invest in affordable housing in South Africa. Projects are located close to job opportunities, transport corridors and other amenities such as schools. Environmental, Social and Governance Performance standards are important and must be met. The intention is to use EDGE for all future developments. Transcend is focused on investing in green housing units that are certified to meet the IFC’s EDGE standard.
Stoneleigh has received a Preliminary EDGE Certificate from Green Building Council South Africa.
