VSIP – The Proposed RBFs Phase 1
VSIP Group, the leading integrated township and industrial park developer in Vietnam, is opening a new 2.045 hectares site at VSIP II in Binh Duong. The site will feature four ready-built factories that have been designed to offer functional and resource-efficient spaces for future tenants.
The industrial complex will utilize resource-efficient design features and technologies to reduce its environmental impact and lower its carbon footprint. Reflective paint, roof insulation, a reduced window-to-wall ratio, LED lighting, and a VRV cooling system will be used to reduce the complex’s energy use, while water-efficient plumbing fixtures and landscaping will reduce the complex’s water use.
The resource efficiency of the factories aligns with VSIP Group’s vision for a greener tomorrow. VSIP Group, a joint venture between the Vietnam-based Becamex IDC Corporation and a Singapore-based consortium led by Sembcorp Development, has also achieved an EDGE certificate for its High-rise Ready Built Factories in Bac Ninh.
The 2020 Vietnam Property Awards also recognized VSIP’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact, being named the Best Sustainable Developer. This project was also honored during the awards for its resource efficiency.
VSIP’s proposed ready-built factories have received a preliminary EDGE certificate from SGS Vietnam.
