You Core Pinheiros – Hotel
You Core Pinheiros Hotel is a 5,671 square meter building in the Pinheiros neighborhood of western São Paulo, a cosmopolitan region full of culture, restaurants and services connected to one of the main avenues of the city. It forms part of a development unit together with You Core Pinheiros Home.
The project features a total of 152 guest rooms at 23 square meters each, with a focus on business tourism.
As a part of a push toward greater sustainability, state-of-the-art energy-saving measures such as solar collectors for hot water, high-efficiency hot water boilers, energy-efficient lighting, along with water-saving accessories such as double flush toilets in bathrooms and automatic shut-off faucets were included in the building’s design and construction. The hotel also lowers its water consumption through the use of a rainwater collection system for irrigation.
The project was developed by You Inc. together with Paladin Realty and Toledo Ferrari, with EDGE services provided by CTE (centro de tecnologia de edificações) and Daniela Corcuera.
You Core Pinheiros Hotel has received a Preliminary EDGE Certificate from Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI).

Reduced window to wall ratio, external shading devices, variable refrigerant volume (VRV) cooling system, high efficiency boiler for water heating, solar hot water collectors and energy-saving light bulbs in internal and external spaces as well as external spaces.
Water
Low-flow showerheads an low-flow faucets in guest rooms/apartment areas, efficient flush for water closets in guest rooms/apartment area and in all other bathrooms, rainwater harvesting system and water efficient kitchen faucets and landscaping.
Materials
In-situ reinforced concrete slab in floor and roof construction, aluminum window frames, plasterboards on metal studs for internal walls and medium weight hollow concrete blocks and precast concrete for external walls.
