You Collection Alves Guimarães is an upper-middle class residential building, located in one of the most desired neighborhoods of São Paulo’s west side. Residents enjoy the community’s amenities designed to improve their health and well-being, including a fitness center, swimming pool, solarium, party room and playground.

The residential building and its 162 units were designed to conserve natural resources through the use of energy-saving lighting, external shading devices, dual-flush water closets, low-flow plumbing fixtures and more. The energy and water savings help residents live more environmentally-friendly lifestyles and save on average 28 percent on utility costs. 

You Collection Alves Guimarães was designed by renowned Brazilian-French architecture studio Tryptique for younger buyers interested in reducing their carbon footprint. The building was developed by You, Inc, financed by Paladin Realty and constructed by Rocontec Rocha Construção e Tecnologia. Paladin Realty has invested in projects across Latin America, bringing more affordable housing to the market in a socially and environmentally-responsible way. The group has financed EDGE-certified projects throughout the region, including Bosque de Serra in Brazil, Villas del Fresno in Mexico and VERAH Etapa 1 in Peru.

Art Home

Art Home


Art Home is a low-income housing complex on the outskirts of São Paulo. Residents of the complex’s 378 two-bedroom units will enjoy numerous amenities, including a swimming pool, playground, barbecue area and soccer field.

The pair of 24-story buildings in the complex were designed to reduce energy and water usage, which will help residents to save an estimated 20 percent on utility costs. Energy-efficient lighting, external shading devices and reflective paint will contribute to the building’s energy savings, while dual-flush water closets and water-efficient plumbing features will contribute to the building’s water savings.

Art Home’s developer, Paladin Realty, has invested in projects across Latin America, bringing more affordable housing to the market in a socially and environmentally responsible way. The group has financed EDGE-certified projects throughout the region, including Bosque de Serra in Brazil, Villas del Fresno in Mexico and Verah Etapa in Peru. Art Home is being constructed by Kallas Incorporações & Construções and managed by Tallento Engenharia.

Located on the outskirts of São Paulo, the Bosque da Serra housing complex provides 180 energy and water-efficient two-bedroom apartments for low-income residents. With energy-efficient lighting and passive design features such as reduced glazing on the façade and reflective paint on the roof, Bosque da Serra empowers residents to lower their carbon footprint and save on utility bills. Residents can expect to decrease their utility bills by nearly one fourth, freeing up their family’s budget for other needs. The complex includes a playground for children, an outdoor space for pets, a fitness center and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy.

It Home Belém

It Home Belém, located in São Paulo, Brazil, has received a preliminary EDGE certificate from thinkstep-SGS.

It Home Belém


The It Home Belém residential building is located in the heart of São Paulo with easy access to public transportation and other services such as hospitals, retail stores and restaurants. Residents can enjoy the nearby Parque Belém, which offers open green spaces and hiking trails. The 24-floor apartment building is divided into one and three-bedroom units with a total of 232 homes. The developer of the project, GTIS Partners, recognized the importance of building green to not only limit its carbon footprint, but also to provide lower utility bills for their customers. With the help of a consulting firm, ENE Consultores, the two companies worked together to find resource-efficient solutions for the project.

It Home Belém uses external shading devices and reduced glazing on the façade to improve energy efficiency. Each of the apartments contain green solutions such as energy-saving lighting systems and low-flow showerheads. These features are expected to reduce utility costs by approximately 25 to 30 percent, depending on the type of unit.

GTIS Partners has real estate investments across the Americas, with multiple projects in Brazil ranging from office and industrial spaces to homes and hotels. ENE Consultores is a Brazilian engineering and architecture consulting firm that focuses on developing sustainable real estate projects. It Home Belém has received final EDGE certification from thinkstep-SGS.

Osasco Eco Building

The Osasco Eco Building by WangPar, located in São Paulo, has received final EDGE certification from GBCI.

Osasco Eco Building


In the middle of Osasco, a São Paulo suburb known for its industrial sector, the Osasco Eco Building stands tall as an alternative to the energy-consuming buildings around it. Built to house clinics and laboratories, the office building’s design solutions minimize its environmental impact, matching the technological innovation at work within the building.

The developer of the Osasco Eco Building, WangPar, and architectural consulting firm Acril used responsible construction materials to minimize embodied energy. These include concrete filler slabs for flooring, aluminum profile cladding for external walls, and hollow concrete blocks for internal walls. The building, which is unairconditioned, prevents extensive heat gain through low-E coated glass on the windows and reflective paint on the roof and walls. A rainwater harvesting system covers 82% of the roof to recycle water for use within the building.

The Osasco Eco Building has received final EDGE certification from GBCI.
