The integrated Creative Engineering Learning Laboratory (i-CELL) FTUI Building, is one of the supporting facilities for education at the Engineering Faculty of Universitas Indonesia (FTUI) that has been designed around the concept of an energy-efficient building.
The project consists of 8 floors and 1 rooftop laboratory with a building area of around 8,410 square meters. In addition to being designed as a smart building, green building features to promote environmental sustainability and efficient energy and resource management were incorporated in the design and operation of the building. Energy-efficient lighting, air circulation, and a water harvesting system and solar photovoltaics producing 101 kWp of electricty are only some of the features minimizing energy and water usage and creating a more sustainable project all around.
The project was developed by FTUI with green building consulting provided by PT Yodaya Hijau Bestari.
i-CELL FTUI has received Final EGDE Advanced Certification from Green Building Council Indonesia.
