The Lib project is a building of 148 apartments developed on 11 floors in the district of Santiago de Surco, in the province of Lima. The area where the project is located is accessible due to its location half a block away from one of the main avenues of the city, Javier Prado Avenue. In addition, the project is located close of the most important shopping center in Lima, the Jockey Plaza, where one can find a clinic, banks, supermarkets, department stores, etc. It is also close to universities and offices.
The certification of this project will allow the building to reduce energy and water use through the use of different strategies (use of LED lighting with motion sensors in common areas, low-flow faucets and water-saving toilets, automated irrigation in common areas). In addition to these savings, the project will have a wastewater treatment plant to use water foe irrigation of green areas of the common areas and will also have bicycle parking spaces in the basements, in order to increase the use of this means of transportation.
