Madrid Live is a housing project located in the San Borja district of Lima, Peru. It consists of a total of 33 apartments with an average floor space of 105 square meters.
The project was developed by Madrid Ingenieros, a local real estate development company with a focus on sustainable housing construction.
By incorporating modern construction technologies for roof and wall construction, the use of energy-saving appliances such as LED lightbulbs and water-efficient plumbing features, as well as an energy-efficient air conditioning system, the project was able to significantly reduce its energy and water consumption, resulting in a more sustainable construction project and a reduced carbon footprint.
Madrid Live has received Final EDGE Certification from Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI).
Reduced window to wall ratio, energy-saving light bulbs for external spaces, lighting controls for corridors and staircases, and energy-efficient air conditioning system.
Low-flow showerheads, low-flow faucets for kitchen sinks and all bathrooms, and dual-flush for water closets.
Medium-weight hollow concrete blocks for internal and external walls, concrete filler slab for floor and roof construction, in-situ reinforced concrete slab for roof construction, ceramic tile and laminated wood flooring, and aluminum window frames.
