Predicted Savings of EDGE Certification
Less Embodied Energy in Materials
Reduced Window to Wall Ratio, External Shading Devices, Insulation of External Walls, Low Energy Lighting, Photoelectric Sensors for daylight harvesting.
Efficient Flush Water closets and Urinals, water efficient showers and faucets, condensate water recovery, rainwater harvesting system.
Floor in-situ concrete slab, clay roof tiling on steel rafters, external and internal walls of autoclave aerated blocks.
*Part of the energy efficiency percentage may be associated with virtual energy for comfort depending on the presence of heating and cooling systems. Note that virtual energy does not contribute savings to utility bills.
