Arq Vila Mariana Retail
Arq Vila Mariana Retail is a 1,988 m2 project that focuses on connecting with parks, universities, hospitals, schools, and various services. Located in the Vila Mariana neighborhood, in the southern region of São Paulo, it features a total of 5 commercial stores. The project was developed by You Inc, together with Paladin Realty, with EDGE auditing provided by Daniela Corcuera from Quanta Studio.
Thanks to the use of state-of-the art sustainability and construction technologies, the Arq Vila Mariana Retail was able to achieve a reduction in utility costs that is projected at 12%. To this end, the project incorporates reflective paint, roof and external wall insulation, external shading devices and energy-saving lighting. Combined with water-efficient plumbing features and construction materials that reduced the energy embodied in materials by 58%, this results in a more sustainable construction project.
Arq Vila Mariana Retail has received a Preliminary EDGE Certificate from Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI).
