Arreboles del Retiro is one of the company’s latest projects, located in a municipality away from the city of Medellín, in a quiet area full of vegetation with easy access to public transport. The residences include external shading and energy-saving lighting, as well as low-flow plumbing fixtures and honeycomb clay blocks for wall construction. In addition to the resource-efficient design strategies that were implemented in order for the project to be EDGE certified, Compañía de Constructores Asociados has also put into practice careful environmental control of its construction process, such as a water recirculation system for its block-cutting plant.
