Artea
Artea is a 15-story residential apartment complex located in the Providencia neighborhood of Guadalajara, Mexico. The project consists of a total of 64 apartments with an average floor space of 79 square meters and was developed by Connexos, a local real estate developer with a focus sustainable real estate projects, which promote quality of life and care for the environment. The project also promotes sustainable lifestyles by offering its users facilities for alternative means of transportation, areas to grow food, and green habitats for a variety of species.
Through the use of state-of-the-art technologies such as external shading devices, variable refrigerant volume (VRV) cooling systems, high-efficiency water boilers, and energy-saving LED lightbulbs, as well as water-efficient plumbing features, Artea was able to significantly reduce its energy and water consumption. This resulted in a more sustainable construction project and a reduced carbon footprint.
Artea has received a Preliminary EDGE Certificate from Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI).
