Bancolombia Punto Clave
Bancolombia Punto Clave, the new offices of Grupo Bancolombia’s headquarters in Medellín, is an example of the bank’s commitment to sustainable development in the real estate sector. The six-story office building conserves energy with a solar power system, energy-efficient air conditioning and occupancy sensors, while reducing its water consumption with low-flow faucets and dual flush water closets. Insulation in the roof and external walls will also contribute to the office’s energy savings.
Grupo Bancolombia is committed to the sustainable development of Colombia and Latin America. Recognizing the important role sustainability plays in transforming the region, Grupo Bancolombia offers its clients various products to help them finance their sustainable development projects. The bank’s adoption of EDGE as a verification instrument for its green finance and green mortgage products is helping significantly to transform the real estate sector in Colombia. Plans are underway for Bancolombia to expand its sustainable finance strategy into El Salvador and Panama, while continuing with EDGE.
Bancolombia Punto Clave has received final EDGE certification from CAMACOL.
