Casa NUA
EDGE Advanced
Located in the prestigious El Poblado neighborhood of Medellín, Casa NUA is a 74-room assisted living community for the elderly. Designed to provide comfort and convenience for its residents, the community will feature a restaurant, theater, fitness center, library and beauty salon.
Casa NUA will utilize resource-efficient design features and technologies to reduce its environmental impact and save on operating costs. LED lighting, higher thermal performance glass and an energy-efficient air conditioning system will reduce the building’s energy use, while dual-flush water closets, low-flow plumbing fixtures and water-efficient landscaping reduce the building’s water use.
The developers of the project, Conexo Inmobiliario, Alemol and Grupo Attia, have designed Casa NUA to serve as an example of their commitment to reducing the environmental impact of the construction and operations of their projects. The development group will continue to design, build and obtain green certification to meet the growing demand for resource-efficient homes.
Casa NUA has received an EDGE Advanced certificate from CAMACOL.
