Daan Mogot Towers 3-7 – “Rusunawa”
The Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta has undertaken the construction of Rumah Susun Sederhana Sewa (shortened to “Rusunawa”) or simple, low-cost apartment buildings. Once completed, the total number of residential units is expected to reach 28,000. The third through fifth of these residential towers, designed and built by PT Sampoerna Land, feature 1,365 green, affordable rental flats. The sixth and seventh residential towers, developed by Keppel Land, feature 522 green, affordable rental flats. They will be managed by the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta.
Low-flow plumbing fixtures and dual-flush water closets have been installed in the flats to help curb water consumption. The window to wall ratio and natural ventilation will optimize energy efficiency. The installation of energy-saving lighting systems both indoors and outdoors will further contribute to electricity savings. The towers are made of autoclaved aerated concrete blocks, a material that minimizes environmental impacts.
Daan Mogot Towers 3-7 – “Rusunawa” has received a preliminary EDGE certificate from the Green Building Council Indonesia.
