Fuel Terminal Tanjung Gerem is an office building located in Cilegon, Indonesia. Fuel Terminal Tanjung Gerem was established in 1994, as a subsidiary of state-owned energy company PT. Pertamina (Persero) and works in receiving, storage, and distributing energy with the vision: “To become a world-class national energy company.”
Fuel Terminal Tanjung Gerem has been certified EDGE Advanced by Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI) becoming the first office building certified in Cilegon City, Indonesia.
The energy, water and embodied energy savings of the project were achieved through the use of measures such as a reduced window to wall ratio, external shading devices, variable refrigerant volume (VRV) cooling system, and energy-saving light bulbs – in internal spaces. In combination with water-saving technologies such as low-flow faucets in bathrooms, efficient flush for water closets in bathrooms, and water-efficient urinals and faucets, as well as modern construction materials such as floor slabs, and roof construction – in-situ reinforced concrete slab, external walls using a common brick wall with internal and external plaster this yielded a project that will save more than 76 tons of CO2 emissions per year.
Fuel Terminal Tanjung Gerem has received Final EDGE Advanced Certification from Green Building Council Indonesia.
