Guizhou Tower

Guizhou Tower

Guizhou Tower is a landmark building located in Guiyang, the provincial capital of Guizhou. The mixed-use tower is home to offices, loft-style apartments and a public area with restaurants and shops. The property is ideally located in the new central business district, Guanshanhu, and only a few minutes’ walk away from the newly finished light rail system.

Guizhou Tower utilizes resource-efficient features and technologies to reduce its environmental impact and save on operating costs. An energy-efficient air conditioning system, roof insulation, and a high efficiency boiler for space heating reduce the building’s energy use, while water-efficient plumbing fixtures and a rain harvesting system reduce the building’s water use.

The investor of the project, Asia Green Real Estate, has worked with IFC since 2017 to help its clients identify the most cost-effective solutions to build green. Asia Green Real Estate has dedicated green building experts who analyze the resource efficiency of each project and help develop buildings that are environmentally, economically, and socially sound. The company has already invested in more than two million square meters of sustainable floor space and has achieved EDGE certification for a number of projects, including Ecoloft Jababeka CikarangVerde Two Terraverde TowerSamara Suites, and Verde Two Monteverde Tower.

Guizhou Tower has received final EDGE certification from GBCI.
