Indie Universe
Indie Universe is a residential development aimed at creatives and content generators, located in the Laureles neighborhood of Medellin on Nutibara Avenue close to the Pontifical Bolivarian University. The project was designed by the M+Group architecture office and developed by Greenmark, a local real estate developer with a focus on sustainable designs.
With a focus on a minimized environmental impact, energy and water-saving technologies were incorporated into the design, construction and internal processes of the building. External shading devices and LED lighting reduce the building’s energy consumption, while water-efficient plumbing fixtures reduce its water use.
Indie Universe has received a Preliminary EDGE Certificate from CAMACOL.

Low-flow showerheads, low-flow faucets for guest rooms, apartments and kitchen faucets, dual flush for all water closets, and water efficient front-loading washing machines.
Materials
In-situ reinforced concrete slab for the floor, in-situ trough concrete slab for roof construction, medium weight hollow concrete blocks for external walls, cored bricks with plaster on both sides for internal walls, vinyl and ceramic tiles for flooring, and aluminum window frames.
