Keserwan Medical Center
Designed to provide state-of-the-art medical care to patients, the Keserwan Medical Center (KMC) will improve healthcare delivery in Mount Lebanon and the surrounding area. A 6-story multi-specialty hospital with 65 beds, the KMC overlooks the sea, providing a comfortable space for nursing and treatment that contributes to a patient’s positive mental attitude in an atmosphere that is conducive to healing.
The Keserwan Medical Center’s professional environment attracts physicians from abroad. Affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at the American University of Beirut, the KMC provides training and greater connectivity among the hospitals in the country’s healthcare network. The individual buildings are designed according to the latest international scientific standards, to ensure efficient and safe healthcare. In order to achieve EDGE certification for Phase 1 of the project, the KMC made an extra investment that will be paid back through lower utility expenses in a little more than one year.
