More Panama City
MORE Panama City is an 18-story apartment complex in the El Cangrejo district of Panama City, Panama. Located in one of the most trending areas of Panama, in the heart of Via Argentina, the project is in proximity to universities, shops, supermarkets, parks, and the metro. MORE consists of a total of 188 apartments with an average floor space of 54 square meters. MORE is being developed by Altius Group and designed by Mallol & Mallol Arquitectos.
To meet international standards for resource efficiency, energy and water-saving technologies were incorporated into the design, construction and internal processes of the building. External shading devices, a higher efficiency HVAC system and LED lighting reduce the building’s energy use, while water-efficient plumbing fixtures reduce its water consumption.
MORE Panama City has received a Preliminary EDGE Certificate from Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI).

Energy
Reduced window to wall ratio, external shading devices, variable refrigerant volume (VRV) AC system, and LED lighting in internal and external spaces.
Water
Low-flow showerhead, water efficient urinals for bathrooms, aerators and auto-shutoff for faucets, low-flow faucets for kitchen sinks and washbasins, and dual flush for water closets.
Materials
Concrete filler slab with polystyrene blocks for roof and floor construction, in-situ reinforced walls and precast concrete sandwich panel for external walls, precast concrete sandwich panel and plasterboards on metal studs with insulation for internal walls, and aluminum window frames.
