Pionono Green
Pionono Green is located in the Savannah north of Bogotá, less than 30 kilometers from the capital, in the municipality of Sopó. The residential complex consists of 416 housing units that offers inhabitants a quiet environment surrounded by nature. Significant energy and water savings will result from the use of LED lighting, reflective paint, external shading on windows, low-flow faucets and water-saving toilets, among other green measures. By designing the project in a resource-efficient way, including the use of honeycomb clay blocks for the walls, the carbon footprint will also be reduced.
The project is being developed by Fenix Construcciones SA, a company with more than 38 years of experience and a leader in Colombia’s construction sector. Pionono Green is part of the Pionono Condominium Club, a mega project comprised of six areas with 2,500 homes, shops and offices, creating a compact and efficient development. Schools, universities, clinics and businesses are located close by, with public transportation available to all.
Pionono Green has received a preliminary EDGE certificate from CAMACOL.
