The ProCredit Group is made up of development-oriented commercial banks operating in Southeastern and Eastern Europe and South America, as well as a bank in Germany. One of the first buildings in the ProCredit Group to be certified with EDGE is the Head Office of ProCredit Bank N. Macedonia.
Aligned with ProCredit Bank’s environmental management strategy, resource-efficient technologies and features were incorporated into the head office. Solar photovoltaics, LED lighting and a ground source heat pump for heating, cooling and ventilation reduce the building’s energy use by almost two-thirds. The building’s envelope and pair of green roofs help to reduce heat losses and improve energy efficiency.
