Produbanco Ekopark

Produbanco Ekopark is an office development located in the Ekopark office park in the El Batan ditrict of Quito, Ecuador. It was developed by Produbanco, Ecuador’s third-largest commercial bank and member of the international financial group Promerica. The new office construction forms part of Produbanco’s commitment to green banking and efforts to promote sustainability.
Through the use of energy-efficient solutions such as reflective paint for roofs, external shading devices, more energy efficient glassing, smart meters, occupancy sensors and LED lightbulbs, and water-efficient plumbing features, the project was able to significantly reduce its energy and water consumption. Additionally, the re-use of existing building elements such as floor slabs, roof, external and internal walls, and flooring and window frames, allowed for a reduction of energy embodied in construction materials by 90%, resulting in a more sustainable construction project and a reduced carbon footprint.
Produbanco Ekopark has received Final EDGE Advanced Certification from Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI).

Low-flow faucets for kitchen sinks and bathrooms, water-efficient urinals and efficient flush for water closets.
