YDVL – BLOCK 3
Yi Da Viet Nam Limited (YDVL) Block 3 is a light industrial development located in the Song Thao Town industrial cluster, in Phu Tho Province, Vietnam. Developed by Crystal Group, a Vietnamese garment manufacturer, the project was designed in line with the company’s commitment to environmental protection and sustainability.
Resource-efficient features and technologies were incorporated in the design and construction of the project. These include the use of a roof insulation, an energy-efficient cooling system, solar hot water collectors, as well as energy-efficient lighting systems. Water-efficient plumbing features round out the project’s resource savings by limiting its water consumption. The factory was designed by Construction And Investment Jsc No.18.3 with EDGE consulting provided by GreenViet.
YDVL Block 3 has received a Preliminary EDGE Certificate from SGS Vietnam.

Technical Solutions
Energy
Reduced window to wall ratio, roof insulation, variable refrigerant volume (VRV) cooling system, energy-saving lighting in sales, corridors, common and external areas, and solar hot water collectors.
Water
Efficient flush for water closets, water-efficient urinals for all bathrooms, aerators/auto-shutoff for faucets, and water-efficient faucets for kitchen sinks.
Materials
In-situ reinforced concrete slab for the floor and roof construction, common brick walls with plaster on both sides for internal and external walls, ceramic tile and finished concrete for flooring, and aluminum window frames.
