Valenti is a two-tower apartment complex in Bogotá, bringing 512 three-bedroom units to the city’s Bosa neighborhood. Residents will enjoy the complex’s numerous amenities and the open concept living spaces, which were designed for the modern family.
The identical towers will utilize resource-efficient design and technologies to save energy and water, including LED lighting and low-flow plumbing fixtures. Natural ventilation will also be used to lower the indoor temperature of the complex, eliminating the need for air conditioning.
Valenti is a project conceived, designed, and promoted by Palav V, a part of Grupo Valor. Palav V is committed to implementing energy efficiency strategies into its residential projects, aligning itself with international green building standards. Valenti has also been financed by Paladin Realty Colombia Private Equity Fund. Paladin Realty has financed EDGE-certified projects throughout the region, including Bosque de Serra in Brazil, Villas del Fresno in Mexico, Verah Etapa 1 in Peru, and You Collection Alves Guimarães in Brazil.
Valenti has received a preliminary EDGE certificate from CAMACOL.
Predicted Savings of EDGE Certification
Less Embodied Energy in Materials
Reduced window-to-wall ratio, natural ventilation with operable windows and no A/C, energy-saving saving lighting in internal and external spaces, and lighting controls for corridors and staircases.
Low-flow showerheads and faucets for kitchen sinks and washbasins.
In-situ concrete for the floor and roof, cement fibre boards on metal studs for internal walls, and in-situ reinforced internal and external walls.
*Part of the energy efficiency percentage may be associated with virtual energy for comfort depending on the presence of heating and cooling systems. Note that virtual energy does not contribute savings to utility bills.
