• September 16 – Evening – 16:00-18:00 SAST – Toast to Ten: An Intimate Gathering Ahead of the 10-Year Green Building Summit  Join us for an intimate evening of canapés, fine wine, and conversation at the stunning local winery, nestled in the heart of Cape Town’s historic wine country. This exclusive pre-summit gathering brings together all stakeholders, including CXOs, consultants, financiers, and high-level clients for a relaxed yet purposeful evening of networking ahead of our 10-Year Summit.
• September 17: Day – 8:30-17:00 SAST – 10 Years of EDGE Summit – Green building stakeholders from around the world come together to celebrate a decade of impact. The day begins with opening remarks from IFC leadership and program donors, setting the tone for a day of reflection, insights, and recognition as we tell the story of the evolution of EDGE and the impact we have made over the last decade.
• September 17: Evening – 18:00-21:00 SAST – EDGE 10-Year Dinner and Awards Ceremony – The evening gala will serve as a celebratory culmination of the day’s program, bringing together the global EDGE community to mark ten years of progress in advancing green buildings worldwide. Guests will enjoy an elegant evening of networking, reflection, and recognition, as we honor the individuals and institutions who have shaped the success of the EDGE journey.
• September 18: IFC EDGE’s event organizer, API Events, has invited all attendees who wish to stay engaged to join the Africa Property Investment (API) Summit, taking place at the same venue immediately following the EDGE program. The API Summit on September 18–19 offers a chance to dive deeper into Africa’s real estate investment future. API will also be curating special International Insights Sessions as part of this years’ program—providing a platform our attendees to apply to speak at this Pan-African event. Please note that this is an external event and not part of the IFC EDGE programming.

• Recognition of Excellence: Honoring organizations and individuals who have made significant contributions to sustainable building practices.
• Networking Opportunities: Connecting with peers, industry leaders, and policymakers to share experiences and explore new collaborations.
• Inspirational Stories: Hearing firsthand accounts of challenges overcome and successes achieved in the journey toward greener buildings.

• EDGE Champions Summit 2022 – Washington, D.C.: Held at the IFC headquarters, this inaugural summit welcomed 13 Champions from Africa and Latin America. Participants shared their experiences in promoting green building practices and received recognition for their commitments to sustainability.
• EDGE Champions Asia Summit 2023 – Singapore: This event marked the first EDGE Champions Summit in Asia, bringing together over 20 Champions from across the continent. Attendees engaged in discussions on policy strategies, portfolio decarbonization, and the future of green buildings in the region.
